How to Join the European Marathon Classics Challenge

The European Marathon Classics (EMC) is a brand-new continent-wide series that unites eight legendary marathons into one unforgettable journey. Launched in February 2025 at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, it’s more than just a collection of races. It’s a movement celebrating unity, personal growth, health, community, and Europe’s shared spirit.

On what it consists of:

• Complete at least 5 out of the 8 marathons, each in a different city.
• There is no time limit — you can spread your journeys over several years.
• Historical results count! You’ll soon be able to add verified past finishes (even from many years ago) through the partnership with LetsDoThis.com.

The Reward: When you finish your fifth marathon, you’ll earn the official “European Marathon Classics Finisher” title and a beautiful commemorative medal. The medal has a unique concentric design with space for magnetic collectible badges, one from each race you complete. Every new city adds a new piece to your personal story.
